Trade builder
See what a trade really does to your team, not just who scores more.
- Build the dealTap the players you'd give and the ones you want, then choose how many weeks ahead to look.
- Only starters countA player's points only count in the weeks they'd be in your best starting XI. A star who'd sit on your bench adds nothing, and anyone from your bench who steps in for a player you trade away is counted too.
- Get a straight answerSee how many points you gain, whether it's fair enough that they're likely to say yes, and a week-by-week breakdown. Or open Ideas for swaps that suit both sides.

How the numbers work
- xPts (expected points) uses your league's scoring rules. It covers each player's chance of playing and of playing 60+ minutes (from recent games), goals and assists from their expected goals (xG) and assists (xA) per 90 minutes, clean sheets, goals conceded, saves, defensive contributions, bonus and cards. Every number is adjusted for the opponent and home or away.
- Team strength starts from last season's results and shots on target (promoted teams start at the level of the sides that went down). This season's matches then take over: they mix xG with real goals, allow for opponent quality and give recent games more weight, while last season fades out week by week.
- Team news: when a player is injured, suspended or doubtful, their team's expected goals drop by that player's share of the team's usual goal threat. The replacement is assumed to make up about a third of it.
- CS% is the chance of keeping a clean sheet. Start% is the chance of starting, from the predicted lineups.
- Predicted lineups come from recent starts (last week counts most), injury and suspension news, and each team's usual formation. When a starter is out, the team-mates in the same position who already get minutes pick up those starts, and their expected points rise.
- Fixture colours: green is good and red is bad. For keepers and defenders the colour shows clean sheet chance; for midfielders and forwards it shows how many goals the team is expected to score.
